I am passionately in love with color. I am also in love with the fluidity of watercolors and the intriguing textures and effects that can be achieved with the medium. Its an adventure into creativity.
My inspiration comes from the Holy Spirit. I see visions during worship that He wants me to paint. Now I am even having dreams showing me new directions to explore.
I studied art 30 years ago at Orange Coast College and for a semester at Sonoma State University. For the past year, I’ve been taking classes at Shasta College, where one of my watercolors was chosen to be displayed in the Student Art Exhibit. Christie Higgins, my watercolor teacher has been a wonderful inspiration to me and I’ve learned a lot from her.
Red Bluff Gallery is now displaying my watercolors in the co-op gallery.
