"Butterfly"

Butterfly by Oleta Tucker

Oleta Tucker began her life-long art career at a very early, creating an elaborate collection of paper dolls. Her personal art gallery, 45-years in the making, boasts of dozens of prize-winning works embracing all mediums, pen-and-ink, oils, graphite and others. Her passion for creating comes from her love of nature, people, and a general interest in beauty of all kinds. She successfully granulates her interests into beautiful works of art, much of which resides in galleries and in the homes of her many admiring friends.
Oleta was born in Oklahoma and has resided in Northern California for the past 26 years. She is a retired Psychiatric Technician. She is a long-tern member, and past vice=president, of the Red Bluff Art Association. She is currently directing her many talents to the mastery of fine-arts acrylics, and has devised new techniques that have already enhanced her years of painting. She also paints vivid-colored images on emu and ostrich eggs, and has done needlepoint, embroidery and other sewing projects.
