About the Artist:

Christy Gadbois-Vail was born and raised in San Francisco but has been living in the Red Bluff area for over twenty years. Her education and background is in art and graphic design. After raising four children she is pursuing a new career—in art. She is currently painting in both oil and acrylic but also enjoys creating works in clay and assemblage. Her subjects are abstractions from the natural world designed and rendered to tell a story. Christy teaches part-time for Red Bluff High School.
