"Jeff has a creative and unique way of looking at life. When I first saw his work, it was a very large "sculpture" made of recycled materials and wood in a small rural community. His use of the materials in an otherwise dismal setting near a gas station-country store, was like a breath of fresh air in this little community. His vision so far beyond that of the people who live there, and though not completely understood, nonetheless, respected and admired.
Jeff continues to find beauty in what others might discard or destroy. Part of a horse in this bit of decayed wood, a bird's head in another piece of driftwood, leaping figures in a collaborative work with metal sculpture Darryll Warren.
Like Jeff, his work is creative and unique. We are proud to have Jeff at the Gallery."
