I am a native of California, a photographer who is presently based in the small town of Anderson, California. The North State provides numerous opportunities for me to capture the Majestic Mountains, rivers and lakes surrounding this beautiful area. I love documenting this beauty along with the everyday simple things that are around us all, everyday. I enjoy capturing Close up (Macro) shots of flowers, bees, birds, butterflies and of course our pets are some of my favorite things as well. My work demonstrates a successful combination of professional skills with an intuitive photographic eye.
I display my photography in the usual way as photographic prints in both color and black & white. I also display my images in the media of photographic wraps (a photo image printed onto a canvas like material that is then stretched onto a wood frame; like a painting).
I have many 11 X 14 images that are in 16 X 20 frames. There are black & white prints and color prints to choose from. I also have 15 color wraps that are 20 X 24 in size and one 16 X 20 sepia wrap to offer for display (most of these will be on display at the Redding City Hall this summer). All are of images that are from photography. I am just now starting to explore some abstract imaging from my photo’s using an enhanced sharpening process. I would call these a mixed media since I do use a software program to get the effect.
